Pastor L and his team of lay leaders are taking the gospel to dozens of villages in a remote part of central India. He is part of our ‘Light up a Village’ project, handing out dozens of solar powered radios and lights. He is also the respected voice of our shortwave programmes to this region.
The idea of ‘Light up a Village’ has grown to encompass all we do, whether it’s the growth of our WhatsApp audio messages or our shortwave broadcasting; our whole motivation is to light up people’s lives with the Light of the Gospel.
Our growing WhatsApp ministry now sends audio and text messages in 5 languages to thousands across India every day.

“I am from a non-Christian background, and a doctor by profession. I had no peace in my heart and there was always sadness in my life. My friend sent me a WhatsApp audio message. This Word of God is touching me and I'm praying to God every day waiting for the next word to come because it's giving me peace. I've been sharing this with my friends and family, and many others, too. I have accepted the Lord because I received peace and I want to hear and learn more about Jesus.”
