After returning in January, Reach Beyond missionaries Gavin and Heather Falconer have settled back into life in Ecuador.
They have cleared their home of bugs and scorpions(!) and are now focused on resuming their impactful work.
Doors have already opened for them to restart the hippotherapy project, which provides physiotherapy through horseback riding.
Heather is training up her team of volunteers to help 30 disabled children each week.
Several of the volunteers are Christian friends, creating even more opportunities to witness and share their faith with the families they support.
Gavin is developing his new role within the APOYO Pastoral (pastoral support) team.
He is already working with 2 groups of pastors in different regions, as well as helping Anna-Claire Cusick with a medical database.
Gavin and Heather’s ministry continues to bring hope and healing to the community, one step—and one ride—at a time.
