Whether your church needs...

  • Practical tools for cross-cultural interactions in the community
  • Resources to stir hearts for God’s people overseas
  • A reminder of how each one of us is salt and light in our workplace

... exploring Simply Mobilising is for you!

The Unfinished Story

In this 4-session course you’ll learn about the history of the Christian movement around the world, the effects of globalisation on mission and engage with God’s heart for the least reached peoples both globally and locally. The video and workbook materials do all the teaching, enabling you to facilitate and encourage discussion amongst your groups. Each workbook also comes with a prayer booklet focussing on the major religious blocs around the world – helping you to understand and pray against the barriers to Christianity in those nations.

Empowered to Influence

This course is of special relevance to anyone who wishes to live out their Christian life in the workplace. Like The Unfinished Story, Empowered to Influence is a four-session study that can easily be used within a small-group setting. Through the video and workbook materials you’ll uncover seven important paradigm shifts that can help you to live effectively as salt and light in your sphere of influence.

Through Reach Beyond, you can train to coordinate these Simply Mobilising courses in your church. Each course has one day’s training where we’ll take you through the sessions and leader’s materials, equipping you to facilitate the course in your own church context. It costs £45 per course for the initial training and £10 per participant workbook. To find out more about these two courses, or to attend coordinator training please enquire.

Simply Mobilising also offers three more in-depth courses that can be organised for your church through a Simply Mobilising Facilitator.

Crossing Cultures

Would you like to explore how to build relationships with those from other cultures who live on your doorstep? Crossing Cultures is a practical course which develops vital tools to break the ice and start conversations with those from different backgrounds or cultures. Over an evening meal and a following full day together, you’ll have an interactive training workshop, a practical field exercise and then a group debriefing on your experiences.

The Bible tells us that God's heart is for all people, from every nation. The Kairos Course unpacks this in the light of scripture, history and what God is doing today. It will help you explore how you can reflect God's heart for the nations in your situation. We all have a part to play in God's global mission – Kairos can help you discover yours, whether that’s at home in the UK or overseas.

Over ten sessions led by a Simply Mobilising Facilitator, you’ll learn more about the Great Commission, God’s vision for the Church, being mobilised to start mission where you are, and being matured to find your place in His Kingdom plan.

Youth Kairos

Aimed at young people between 15-20, Youth Kairos has similar aims to the main Kairos course – helping individuals find their place in the world Christian movement. Youth Kairos Facilitators will guide attendees through a mixture of materials looking at the biblical, historical, cultural and strategic aspects of mission and how they relate to everyday life.

The sessions can be run within a youth group context over 3-4 days or in a residential programme.

You can find out more information about all these courses at the Simply Mobilising website.
