One Heart is a medical clinic and church in the heart of Athens that provides medical services to refugees and asylum seekers, especially to Farsi speakers.
This remarkable initiative is run by its founder, Iranian Christian Sahar Kamrani, and her Dutch husband. And it thrives on the generosity of volunteers from Greece, Europe and the US who provide free medical care and support services, as well as raise funds for patients who need more complex treatments.
One Heart is a partner with Reach Beyond, and that’s why we are planning to take several teams to Athens this year.
Will you volunteer with us at One Heart?
Whether you're a medical professional eager to lend your expertise, or someone passionate about making a tangible difference through administration, children’s ministry or practical assistance - your skills are invaluable.
And, with clinics operating as volunteers become available, and short-term teams mobilising regularly, there's always an opportunity to serve.
Whether it’s for a week, a month, or longer, your generosity of sharing your time and skills can change the life of a refugee in need.
